Dr. G, a self-described "eye dentist" is speaking about eyeglasses. Spectacles are a miracle in disability aid adoption. Normalized to the point that people forget how important they are.

So happy to share our incredible work, just published in Cell. We found that high expression of OLAH drives life-threatening immune responses. OLAH directly impacts disease severity in multiple globally relevant, but distinct viral infections. tinyurl.com/3xupbr2k

So excited our recent paper got a shoutout in Immunology Podcast! This ongoing research is going to be a fascinating story, because OLAH regulation seems to involve lots of different biological processes like viral replication, inflammation, metabolism, and wound healing. Stay tuned!

This is a very exciting and promising new approach that gets folks with orthopedic device infections healing and back on their feet sooner. In kids with cancer, it also allows safe re-initiation of chemotherapy without compromising infection outcomes. St. Jude Research
