My grandad passed away yesterday and ended his courageous battle against cancer- I’m devastated. I will miss his kindness, dry humor, and fascinating history stories. He enjoyed quizzing me on WW2 history! I love you, Pop! ❤️

I have taken a sincere interest in local government - I recently finished Lewisville’s Citizen’s University and it was a fantastic program!

The TX Civil War Museum is amazing & a great resource for educators who love to teach about the ‘war between the states!’

And… to all who love to travel and escape the bustle of the metroplex, I would recommend a trip to Granbury, TX- home to good food & historic treasures (including the burial sites of Elizabeth Crockett & outlaw Jesse James)! 🇺🇸

In December- I visited Signers’ Garden in Philadelphia & ate a hearty breakfast while sporting my USA flag shirt. Happy Birthday America! 🇺🇸 🎊

A fantastic weekend- watched an amazing performance of ‘Our Town’ by the Coppell HS Theater Co. (my IB student Harrison was in the cast) and ate some great BBQ at Sullivans BBQ in Lewisville! Supporting my students & local businesses!
