A surprising result and a generally subpar performance overall for WCU. The 2nd half was significantly improved, but they are gonna need to make sure to lock in from the start of games to ensure results.

Ok, ready to move on and be positive again about what should be an incredible season. It’s just the absolute WORST to lose to that team, for me the game I always want to win most.

WCU looks to get back on track this afternoon against High Point at home in Cullowhee. Excited to be back on the mic at 1pm on ESPN+ in a battle of 2 teams that came up just short of reaching the NCAA Women's College Cup falling in the Big South and SOCON Championship games.

Looking around the SOCON, it was a rough start for nearly everyone with the conference going 2-7-1 to open the season with just the Tennessee teams picking up opening day wins. Let's see what happens around the league in game 2!

Catamounts looked good today beating a solid High Point team. Back on track defensively, Demarco with her trademark devastating runs and game breaking ability, Goclowski finished well. Tough game on Thursday after Ga So beat Samford, but definitely back on track!
