This week in the spending review and the big winner was the NHS. Having recently done quite a lot of work on mental health waiting lists I a statement on the use of this investment to push for more investment in bringing those waiting lists down and supporting people who need it.

I tried to get in this point. I believe coercion to be a risk that we must safeguard against. It is deeply disturbing to me that some [not all] supporters of the bill don’t accept that this is a risk. My former role in safeguarding tells a rather different story.
