Howard DE Noah Miles has changed numbers from #91 to #4. He is 6'3, 255 pounds and was a 1st-team All-MEAC pick in 2024 with 35 TKL, 11.5 TFL, and 8 sacks. He is getting NFL attention and is a name I expect to end up in an all-star game if he has anything close to repeat of 2024.

Indiana Wesleyan All-MSFA DE Anthony Cheesebourough is has changed numbers from #11 to #1 for the 2025 season. He is 6'4, 225 and had 43 TKL, 8.5 TFL, and 7.5 sacks in 2024. He will attract NFL looks this fall. He is ranked among my top 55 small schoolers.

Jackson State has 2 players who I will be watching that are on the NFL radar and they changed jersey numbers. WR Joanes Fortilien wore #16 in 2024 and is wearing #6 now. RB Kenan Christon wore #23 and is now wearing #8. Christon transferred from San Diego State.

Southeastern Louisiana DT Kaleb Proctor has changed from #48 to #2 for the 2025 season. He was a 2nd-team All-Southland pick in 2024 with 49 TKL, 6 TFL, 4.5 sacks, and 3 QBH. Proctor is an All-American candidate and NFL prospect who should attract a lot of scouts on campus.

Stephen F Austin CB Charlie Demmings has changed his jersey number from #6 to #1. He was a 2nd-team All-Southland pick in 2024 with 19 tackles, 2 INTs, and 10 PBUs. Demmings will attract a good bit of attention from NFL teams with his HWS of 6'1, 190 and projected 4.4 speed.

An interesting small school portal loss that went under the radar was Thomas More TE Mike Kirch who went to Florida Atlantic in April. He is a 2-time All-GMAC player with pretty good size. He was in position to get NFL looks out of Thomas More. 37 rec in 2024 and 39 rec in 2025.

This does not shock me at all. They have some legit talent and could make a deep run. I firmly believe Tarleton State will end up getting a FBS invite.

Doing a top 25 vote after this weekend is almost as hard as doing the preseason vote. There is so much we still don't know.

Top 25 voting is still tough. Should a team who is 2-0 and pulled a big upset get a vote or wait to see how they respond in follow up game to make sure they are for real? Games after pulling an upset are considered trap games for a reason.

Turned in my votes this morning and still a lot of teams in question. In terms of ratings I will start making some early moves this week and post updates top 10 next week.
