Not in my nature to ‘big up’ personal achievements, but delighted to have secured the first 2-day HKC victory at E Sussex National. My short game was the deciding factor in this epic clash of the Henrys, with the great man’s name frequently echoing across the 36 hole facility.

Annual pilgrimage to SGH results in a comprehensive win for ⁦Lee Osborne⁩ He struggled with his driving, iron play, chipping and putting and of course ⁦Des Campbell⁩ ‘s presence. Although we all struggled with that tbf.🙄 #GreatFun

Sometimes a sideline event can trump the main event. The HKC win today really isn’t of interest. The sideline match PB/DC v LO/JF is what the purists craved. PB/DC 4 up after 4 & then the inevitable reeling in for a LO/JF 2&1 loser beer buying alefest. Great fun #almost

Delightful day at #BansteadDownsGC hosting a fairly uneventful HKC bar a slight wobble by ⁦Des Campbell⁩ on the 4th tee box. He romped home in imperious fashion from there & had the decency to physically take the trophy home this time (a rare treat). #GolfMeetsStanleyCup
