There is simply nothing like week-before/month-December-Christmas-teacher-tired. The Ho Ho hyper is real and so are the meltdowns and blow ups from the kiddos. They don’t all have happy Christmases and breaks. It weighs on us.

Came “home” a few days early to be with mom before our Christmas this weekend. While there is a void in our heart, Dad will be always be with us.

Never say never. After 10 years of begging I finally caved and let Levi Crawford bring a puppy into my home. He’s cute, but it’s only been 15 minutes.

Congrats to KC on their win. I sure wish they would show some of the Chief players who showed more respect to their coach than #87. Not a role model I would want my kids looking up to.

Something I didn’t see happening while working during a PD day…. Coming within inches of stepping on a bat at school. Something that didn’t surprise me…running out of the library screaming “Bat!” Yes, it was dead. Yes, I was frozen in fear the rest of the day. Bats are gross.

I work with the best staff ever. Yep. I’m calling it. So many volunteered to make Family Reading Night a success. Over 200 kids in a smaller school with their families attended. Pretty darn amazing. Every one of my 25,345 steps was worth it. Sigourney Elementary is the BEST!

I feel like I need to apologize to my entire neighborhood for the sh** show that happens when I attempt to walk our 5 month old dog. No words for tonight’s performance.

A year ago I said goodbye to my dad & today I chose to honor him by doing some things…Planting a tree in his memory, doing some sub par landscaping compared to his standards & I’ll have a drink just like he would after a long day’s work. Blessed to have had him in my life. ❤️
