BREAKING: Abortion services will continue in Utah! Today, a Utah court blocked the state's abortion ban for a second time, granting PPAU's request for a preliminary injunction. We will keep fighting to keep abortion legal for all Utahns!

Thank you Robert Gehrke for the highlight reel of the PPAU v UT that ended in an injunction. Thank you PPAC Utah and ACLU of Utah for standing up for the right to equal protections, privacy, freedom of consciousness, health and abortion.

“You can’t have health equity without coverage and timely access to providers.” — Daniel Tsai CMSGov at our child and family health policy virtual conference keynote address today.

This is a huge opportunity for CMSGov Secretary Xavier Becerra to advance a health equity agenda for children. All 3 states on the West Coast are/will request Section 1115 authority to cover young children continuously from birth thru age 5. In CA 72% of children of color are on Medicaid.

Did the 24 Utah Republicans who issued “cease and desist” letters to abortion providers break the law? It looks like it. Will they be held accountable? 🤷🏻‍♀️

This is great news. It is 💯critical for states who are adopting the 12 months postpartum option to line it up with their Medicaid unwinding process and system changes to ensure that very new moms don't miss out on this important coverage this year.

IT'S A GREAT DAY TO FUND ABORTION ACCESS IN UTAH, including care for Utahns traveling out of state. In the meantime, don't forget: ABORTION IS STILL LEGAL IN UTAH. Donate to UTAF: utabortionfund.org/donate
