Since 2016, I started to talk about Registered Reports to my fellow Chinese colleagues and claimed RR is great, but shamefully, without 1st hand experience. Finally, together with awesome collaborators, I have my first Stage 1 RR being accepted in principle. Makes my day!

I know this place is crap sometimes, but meeting tweeps in real life and chatting about methods for a couple of hours is the stuff! 👏⚡️😀

I've been owed money by multiple unis this year and I'm astounded by the process. It is the exception to get paid back proactively or promptly. I had multiple places not respond for weeks and take months for reimbursement. Did not seem related to how rich the school is. WTF?
