I don’t prefer third party DAW plugins because many are gimmicks. Also need updating or prescriptions to keep them going and when you can’t it ends up messing up your mix because it’s no longer available.

I’m having difficulty learning to sing my lyrics and play the syncopated bass notes at the same time. I knew it would be difficult which is why I considered making the bass behind the vocal lines more simple. But no. Some I didn’t heed to that plan.

My one appearance in Newburgh NY is rescheduled for November. It should be fun playing some of my tunes live. Hope to have footage.

I need a music vehicle that can take me through all my moods. I’m venturing in some instrumentals again like the old days, maybe a little jazzy

My lyric aspirations have been dry, so I’m returning to some of the instrumental pieces I have in my arsenal. I am not fond of singing, so my pieces may contain brief interludes of lyric phrases or “poems” with emphasis on the riffs.

I hate waking up 4am with rhythm ideas that demand I get up and work out. At the same time I love having the ideas.

My next batch of songs may be instrumentals with uttered chorus phrases perhaps here and there. I’m experimenting due to lack of ideas with traditional formats and am creating a different style.

Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce (Cream) influenced many musicians even in that early era.

Metallica Fight Fire With Fire is one of my favorite by them.

Question to artists Are you getting DM solicitations something like to the tone of “Love the vibe of your tracks. Ever consider submitting it to sync licensing” etc to that type of message?
