Fantastic visit to Texel today with BMcCloskey Jim Dowdall Ger Murray and Dermot O’Mahony for the Spectacled Eider. Despite the extensive fog, the bird showed well in the end, if not in the best conditions for photos. Nice to meet so many birder friends.

BROWN FISH OWL!!! After spending a total of four days over two trips searching for them in Türkiye, I’ve finally seen what must be one of the best species in the Western Palearctic. We had this ad and juvenile in Grand Canyon, Oymapinar Barji this morning. BirdGuides
