Just listen to this race call from Dave Rodman. Shades of the great Larry Lederman in how he did this. Awesome stuff. This would be on my Sportscenter Top 10 @ESPN.

Final Gambit had troubled start again in KY Derby. You can overcome that at Turfway Park Racing & Gaming in a big field on Tapeta. But to finish fourth from last after that trip on a sloppy track in first dirt start, I think the horse is very legit.

Some horses are really good but fall under the radar. Today, Oeuvre (37-19-5-4), ridden by Jareth Loveberry, won stakes at Hawthorne and blew past $1M mark in earnings. IL-bred well-handled in her career by trainer Chris Block for breeder/owner Richard Perkins. Congrats to all.

Was just looking through some Equibase stats because I lived in South Jersey and saw most of his races in person. Spend a Buck won 4 races from early April through late May, including KY Derby, then finished second in Haskell but then defeated older horses in Iselin. No more.
