Due to the forecasted inclement weather for our area, the Jackson County School System will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10. This includes all schools and offices. All extracurricular events scheduled for Friday and Saturday Jan. 11 have been postponed.

Lady Panthers stay UNDEFEATED in Region 8

Due to the snow fall this afternoon and forecasted freezing temperatures overnight, the Jackson County School System will be closed Wednesday, January 22. All extracurricular activities are also cancelled.

The Jackson County School System Recruitment Team will be at the University of North Georgia, Georgia College and University of Georgia Education Recruitment Career Fairs. If you're a student at these schools, mark your calendar and make plans to meet with our team to learn more!

We have a state champion in Jackson County!! First diver to qualify for state in school-history and Alyssa wins the crown!

The Jackson County girls basketball erased an 18-point deficit to earn another region W to close out the regular season with an 18-7 (11-1) record and a top seed in the region tourney. Lady Panthers have also already earned a state playoff berth!
