Is this my ADHD or am I just stupid? I lost an item a few weeks ago, I had ingrained it into my head that I needed to find it and I searched all over for a few days until I finally found it. Weeks later, my brain STILL tells me "oh, you've gotta go look for the thing!"

Me, writing my book a few years ago: "I should abandon this plot line, the "character in a coma" trope is unrealistic and way overdone in media." Me now: "My dad's been in a coma for over a year... It's very realistic and the media has done it ALL wrong. I'm gonna fix that."
