This morning I collected data for European research Drain Brain 2.0. The strap around my neck and the device on my belly can record the volume of blood drainage from the skull. The research has been developed by the cooperation in Italy between ASI and the University of Ferrara.

Results could identify which processes in the body compensate for the lack of gravity, helping to ensure proper blood flow for astronauts on future missions and people with cardiovascular issues on Earth. It’s a great pleasure for me to be part of such research.

🚀✨[A space adventure!]🌙🌠 On June 7, we hosted “From the Moon to comets: Take a walk!” with Swiss Pavilion at the Osaka #EXPO2025. It was a big hit, with many people trying their skills at building a comet, operating the tiny lunar rover SORA-Q, and exploring the Moon in #VR!

Researchers from the University of Bern and Japan, including ISAS Director General Fujimoto Masaki, also joined us at the #SwissPavilion for an #EXPO2025 run down of the latest space research, including what a comet smells like! 👃☄ Thank you to everyone who participated 🎉
