Today I arranged for a daily paper to be delivered to a friend now living in a care home. Got chatting to the newsagent and discovered he pays the paper boys £12 an hour. The care home pay their staff £9.20 an hour.

Social housing is - sadly - a rare and precious resource, especially in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This new approach is a really welcome tool for us and other councils to crack down on tenancy fraud, and make sure these homes are prioritised for those that need them most.
