Collectively, the decline in the #AgBarometer & its sub-indices erased the sentiment improvement from the past several months and leaves the index unchanged from its September 2019 reading when weak commodity prices and an unresolved trade dispute left many farmers concerned.

8) Interest in capturing carbon on farms has increased as several firms have begun offering contracts to farmers. This month's #AgBarometer included questions related to #carbon capture and found 6-7% of the farms have given consideration to contractually sequestering carbon.
