#apsc24 excellent presentation by the wonderful Dr Natasha Lannin outlining the systematic review evidence around rehab management of spasticity. Spoiler alert. Not huge and not robust.

DW Cost-efficiency data for rehabilitation is complex & difficult to collect. Natasha Lannin et al. replicated UK studies, finding similar global savings. bmjopen.bmj.com/content/14/12/… The challenge is to transfer Social Service care budget savings to Healthcare rehabilitation budgets.

#ESOC2025 Dr Natasha Lannin home visit trial. Results suggest same outcomes as for in-hospital consultations. But note control arm care excellent and may be better than what we give routinely in UK. Great RCT and great presentation.
