This is the type of discussion that every news channel should be seeking to promote right now. It represents what most Americans actually want, which is for politicians to be responsible and lower the temperature. Kudos to Markwayne Mullin & Rep Josh Gottheimer.

So glad I cancelled my Post subscription a while back. These editors have no backbone at all. What, these days, is a legitimate criticism of right-wing political figures? Anyone justifying the shooting or calling for violence should be fired. Otherwise, let the people speak.

This is also not how a grand jury works. Grand juries don't determine whether citizens committed crimes. They decide that whether there is a possibility that there may be guilt, even if it is unlikely. That's why they say a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich.

A few notes on the Comey indictment: 1) Yes, Trump and lots of allies were indicted, too. They were overwhelmingly convicted by juries when the cases actually went to trial. We’ll see whether Comey is, too. 2) There is no comparison between Biden’s role in those prosecutions

This is a positive step by the Trump administration, and fairly remarkable, given how devoted many high-level MAGA partisans are to demonizing Qatar. It should also be interpreted as a signal to Hamas that Trump intends to back up any commitments it makes in a peace plan.

Really a jaw-dropping figure here - the conservative-run (with state $$$) New College of Florida spends $134,000 per student annually, 13 times the average at other public Florida universities.

The ceasefire will be tenuous, but there is a chance (maybe not a good one) that it will stick if President Trump is serious about using leverage on both sides. Ironically, the only group in the world that may have leverage on him is the Norwegian Nobel Committee. #WaitAYear
