In Roocode, I've found that I often get much better results with Write, Mode switching & Terminal Execute auto approve turned off. I call this manual power steering, where you can divert the AI from doing silly edits and getting into a loop of trial and error with your code.

Claude Code is the best AI coding agent i've tried yet, the max plan is so worth it considering you get to use opus 4 which has this weird level of "i get it". I still love Roocode but for big tasks Claude Code has been the thing that I go towards recently
