Backed by Defra UK/Environment Agency funding, the #SaltmarshCode will provide vital finance to accelerate delivery of habitat restoration💚 The project brings together all components of the code – from carbon gain predictions to governance & ownership, and financial models needed 2/

A code is a voluntary certification standard to attract private funding for habitat restoration projects in exchange for climate benefits. This is an evidence-based approach, giving assurances that climate benefits are real, quantifiable, additional and permanent #Saltmarsh 3/3
