A long and draining day at work but instantly improves when I get home and get to enjoy a game of football with the kids ⚽

Second arrest of the shift, after a short foot chase in Waterloo Road, SE1. This time on suspicion of going equipped to steal after a male known to us was seen at a cycle rack where there were a number of locked bikes & he was in possession of an angle grinder ^Sgt Watson.

We had a suspect who decided to resist arrest tonight. We had two passing cadets run over and offer assistance. So a big thank you to them both and I wish them all the best in their future applications to join 👍🏻

When you go after 4 ebike robbers with nothing but a clapped out peddle cycle and manage to stay with them for over 1/2 mile before you lose them. Might not have caught them but prevented a member of the public losing their phone

Whilst out on patrol last night I had the pleasure of meeting two officers Police Montréal It was great talking to them about their careers & it was amazing to hear that despite being on two different sides of the world policing has such similarities both internally and externally.
