The U.S. Forest Service will have a public meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Rimini Fire Station (Baxendale Substation #2) to discuss the Jericho Mountain fire.

Jericho Mountain fire west of Helena now at 466 acres, nearly 100 acres more than yesterday. Forest Service holding meeting 7 p.m. tonight at Baxendale Fire Station 2 in Rimini.

I have just been told by the US Forest Service the Jericho Mountain fire is 369 acres and the 466 acre number I X'd earlier was released by another group.

Carroll College and William Ruud, who was scheduled to begin his tenure as president on July 1, have announced that, due to unforeseen events, he will be unable to assume the role of president of the college. Story to be posted soon.
