IOSCO & the IMF held their 2nd joint conference in Washington DC on market-based finance and promoting stability in financial markets. IOSCO Chair Jean-Paul Servais noted “developments such as the use of AI and growth in ETFs are reshaping financial markets”. IMF

Today, IOSCO organised a meeting of the IOSCO Board-level Financial Stability Engagement Group (FSEG), hosted by U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission at their HQ in Washington. IOSCO Chair Jean-Paul Servais was pleased to welcome US SEC Chair Paul Atkins at the IOSCO table on his second day in office.

IOSCO held a workshop among regulators and enforcement authorities, kindly hosted by the Central Bank of Ireland in Dublin. The objective of the workshop was to learn about the challenges in combatting online harm suffered by retail investors and to build consensus on a shared approach.

Our 50th Annual Meeting in Doha hosted by هيئة قطر للأسواق المالية was closed successfully today in the presence of close to 500 participants. All IOSCO members convened during today’s Presidents Committee that was chaired by the هيئة قطر للأسواق المالية CEO Dr Tamy Ahmed Ali Al Boutamy Al Binali.
