On October 21, 2025, a group of Thai soldiers reportedly used heavy machinery to destroy the homes of Khmer citizens in Chok Chey Village, O Bei Chon Commune, O Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province. Before this incident, they had already surrounded the area with barbed wire.
