If you hire freelancers, understand that an invoice (whether it's $500 or $5,000) isn't a line item or a drop in the bucket. It pays their bills. Provides for themselves or their families. Sustains their businesses and careers. Please oh please, treat (and pay) it accordingly.

Warning to Partners - someone went to great lengths to impersonate me, contacting multiple stores offering audits & trying to gain access. They even used my company name on their partner account. Shopify shut them down, but I'll never know what damage was done to my reputation.
