Incredibly grateful to have gotten the opportunity to complete the Teleflex EZ-IO and Haemorrhage Control Cadaveric Procedural Lab yesterday afternoon in St. Andrew’s. Great experience to understand anatomy better and develop a skill used quite a lot!

Had a great day today doing training to finally officially become a Practice Educator! Looking forward to having my own student sometime soon in the future and trying to be a mix of all of the good mentors I had as a student😊

If you ever need to use a public access defibrillator (PAD) but aren’t sure how, just turn it on and listen. The built-in voice instructions will guide you through each step, so anyone can use one to help save a life.

Happy #999Day! I don’t have any new photos relating to work so just enjoy this photo of a beautiful sunset in Tenerife from earlier this year. Grateful to work with so many incredible people in the Emergency Services and I’m proud to be part of an organisation that helps people🧡

She was on her own. No backup. No time to think. 💙 When PC Rhona Adams arrived at a McDonald’s in Bradford last June, she was single-crewed and expecting to check on a vulnerable woman in distress. What she walked into was something else entirely. The woman had locked herself

Visited some of my colleagues in West ACC today and the best way to describe it was “mind blown”. I knew already that they work hard but my god they work SO HARD! So much respect for you guys out there💚
