⁦The Forum (The FPB)⁩ at the House of Lords for the Institute of accountants and bookkeepers awards. As an SME owner myself in the past & talking to our members many of us rely on our accountants & bookkeepers to keep us on the straight & narrow, so it’s good to be celebrating them!

The situation in many ways is worse than it was when the code was introduced in 2016 I’m afraid!!

This is going to be a great event in a great location and I would encourage micro businesses in the sector to come along, share their experiences, learn some new skills and pick up new ideas from the great speakers and other attendees!!😀

I would have thought such a fundamental change to the sector would invite one or two questions from the PCA to those she is regulating, but no!! Apparently not!!, The sector continues to shrink dramatically & new working models replace traditional tenancies at an alarming rate!

I'm calling on Sadiq Khan to ditch the ULEZ camera designed to trap cancer patients, staff & visitors to the Royal Marsden. I want the ULEZ extension scrapped entirely, but a degree of common sense & compassion being applied by the Mayor in this instance would be very welcome.

Twelve years ago to-day an agreement was signed with @kcomhome by which they invested £60,000 into JCYEB We are now only five grants away from issuing 1000 grants to enterprising young people in the 20 years since JCYEB was founded #YoungEntrepreneurs #BeYourOwnBoss

What a great initiative something to be proud of that really does help young businesses, meaningful action that simply WORKS!!
