A busy life is not a symbol of status. It's a symptom of trying to do too much for too many people. A full calendar brings a surplus of stress and a shortage of energy. Reflecting and relaxing should be top priorities. Unscheduled time isn't wasted. It's invested in well-being.

The clinical internship year of the clinical psychology PhD process should be optional and its completion should result in licensure. We have the exact worst of both worlds right now - mandatory, low paid work for little career gain.

Taking AP Psychology in my small FL high school was the first time I envisioned what my career could be (thanks, Mr. Sapp). It changed my life. There are just no words for this.

Congratulations to @SchenkerYael, @lindsaysabik, & Hailey Bulls, PhD for being awarded an AHRQ R01! 🎉 This research will have a high impact because it will clarify impacts of wide-reaching #OpioidLegislation for the more than 600,000 Americans who die annually with #AdvancedCancer.

Strong relationships don’t need agreement. They need alignment. Agreement is having identical opinions. Alignment is having shared values. Agreement is taking the same path. Alignment is heading in the same direction. Closeness is a matter of commitment, not consensus.
