Apple class really enjoy sharing stories with their reading buddies, today were visited by Miss Allen , who read to us, creating a lovely story telling atmosphere.

Today in Apple class we used our new explorers kit brought for us by the PTA, to take a closer look at our natural environment

Today in Apple class we have explored mark making creating large group banners. This help us to stay calm and keep cool in the heat.

Today Apple class participated in singing assembly, our behaviour was impeccable. We did our best to join in with the new songs and cannot wait to return next week.

We had lots of fun at the school disco on Friday, thank you to our PTA for hosting such a fantastic event.

We are having lots of fun in forest school , on the sensory trail, feeling lots of different textures with our feet. We really like the squelchy mud!

Today in Apple class we have been perfecting our fine motor skills and exploring colour mixing with food colouring and pipets.

Today Apple class have been exploring risk and playing team games. We love forest school.

Today in Apple class we have been learning how to play dominoes. We were very good at following the rules, and supportive of the winners.

Today Apple class harvested the peas and carrots we have been growing this term. Our peas plant is really healthy we are hoping there will be some peas for the children to discover next term.

Today in Apple class we have enjoyed our outside area, and been builders. We used our fine and gross motor skills to create, walls, towers and roads.

Today Apple class have been scientists, we have enjoyed exploring media and materials, we have been painting onto tin foil. Experimenting with velocity and how quickly the cars can roll. And investigating floating and sinking with the boats and water.

Today in Apple class we have been artists. We explored media and materials, creating tracks using paint and cars.

Today in Apple class we have been exploring numbers and ICT, playing Teddy bear cakes.

Apple class have been cleaning their teeth everyday day at 1pm . We now have an established routine and can independently follow the tooth brushing rules Big Brush Club

This term as sports persons Apple class explored the parachute, we were very engaged and demonstrated great listening skills.

Today in Apple class we became scientists when we found a spider. We were very interested in the spider and google helped us identify it as a giant house spider (tegenaria gigantea)!

This week in Apple class we practised using our fine and gross motor skills , hammering sticks into the pumpkin to create a hedgehog. He is now living in forest school we can’t wait to see what happens to him over the next few weeks.
