Donโ€™t quit - victories are ahead! โ€œ35-40% of ministers last less than 5 years in the ministry.โ€ (The Gospel Coalition, 2013) โ€œPastors who make it to their fifth year have a good chance of experiencing their most fruitful ministry at a church.โ€ (Lifeway Research, 2023)

Judgment in Scripture comes โ€œbecause you trusted in your works and your treasuresโ€ (Jer 48:7). So whatโ€™s the solution? How do you avoid trusting your strivings and savings? Well: rest from your works, and give of your treasures. Or, as we call it now, Sunday. Happy Lordโ€™s Day!

Such a joy to be with Novio Church in #Nijmegan today, visiting The Parkers who we sent from Redeemer Colchester 2 years ago to be part of the team. Today, they prayed off a student returning to #brazil - a sending church! @calummcdonald2001 from Redeemer Colchester was leading worship too.

Give your kids a sense of adventure - itโ€™ll give them incentive to overcome fears, push through barriers and develop resilience.

The churchโ€™s formal structures donโ€™t produce life of themselves. Merely to attend a โ€œplace of worshipโ€ has no intrinsic worth. Relationships, bonds of love, impartation of the truth, unity in the Spirit, the inspiration of the Spirit are essential to our life in Christ.
