Huffman competed today at the McNeil Invitational. Senior Andres Rios took the lead a little after the mile and never looked back winning the 4A division this morning. Not far behind in 3rd place was Junior Anthony Zuniga. Junior Celeste Cantu got 8th overall !

At the McNeil Invitational the boys team placed 3rd out of 43 teams and the girls team place 15th out of 47 teams. Next week will compete in Liberty, and Andres Rios and Anthony Zuniga will compete at the Nike South Invitational .

Andres Rios crushed this morning became 3rd Huffman boy to break 16:00 for 5K! He was locked in and placed 13th!

Freshman Cyrene White new school record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.89

Andres Rios places 3rd this morning at Klein Cain in the 3200 running the 3rd fastest time in Huffman history. Only times in front of him is former State Champion Harvinder Singh!

Freshman Cyrene White breaks her own school record tonight at the Porter Spartan Relays in the 200!!!!

Cyrene White breaks the 100 meter record today in Anahuac! Old record 12.34 was held by Jade Williams.

Cyrene White runs the girls 200 and wins her heat easily hand time 24.9 which would be a school record. Timing system malfunctions and she didn’t get time. Cyrene is determined and runs about 15 min later in a boys heat and destroys the school record with a 24.77 FAT!

Former Huffman standout and Huffman school record holder Amori Pierson breaks the Texas Tech school record at the Texas Relays today! Congrats Amori!

Girls and Boys won the District Track & Field meet last night. Big week lots of personal records and seasons bests. 1 school record and some freshman records.

Cyrene White breaks her own school record of 12.30 in the 100 by running 12.16. She currently holds both the 100 and 200 school record. Excellent freshman season she is having!

Girls 4x200 of Leyanah Britt, Adyson Booth, Delaney Seals, and Cyrene White win Regionals and are advancing to State with a new School Record!

Tristen Listi places 3rd in the 400 and has a chance as a wild card to qualify for State! Great job Tristen!
