Several days’ measures: Testing whether predictor is related to outc. the next day, and I control for the pred. on the same day as the outc: outc_lagged ~ pred + pred_lagged But then I’m asked to include pred:pred_lagged interaction term. Why? What would this show? #rstats 🤔

This is horrifying 😳 I wonder how many papers in psych have errors due to data cleaning by hand in excel...copy/paste mistakes, accidental deletions, etc

What’s the recommended package/resource for doing #EFA in R? I’ve used #lavaan for CFA and SEM stuff, but for the first time with #rstats I need to do something exploratory. Something easy, tidy-friendly and versatile, with parallell analysis, scree plots and whatnot? 🤔

I have my #mastodon account set up - @[email protected] - and it looks promising so far! Did a first-pass skim through the bios of people I follow here and followed any mastodon accounts I found. I’ll try again in a week or two. Aiming for a gradual transition off twitter.
