Good morning #HamOnt As temperatures are rapidly changing (unseasonably warm/cold) it's important to remember that no ice is 100% safe. Please remember to use caution when around any body of water whether ice is present or not. #NoIceIsSafeIce

Fluctuating temperatures make for weak, unpredictable and unsafe ice. Please be safe and stay off of what little ice we have in our region.

Another friendly reminder that extreme caution needs to be exercised if venturing out to be on or even near ice within our area. The heating and cooling cycles of late make for weak and unpredictable ice.

Shortly before 8am, Hamilton Police located a body in the water near Pier 8 #HamOnt. The investigation has since been completed and deemed non-suspicious. The deceased has been identified. Thank you to the community for their support during the investigation.
