Riding in the indoor today bc it’s toasty outside ☀️

My phone fell out of my pocket today when I was riding, so my groom gave me this. It attaches through the belt loops. He bought it in Mexico and it’s brand new! What a nice gesture!

Some days, like today, it hits me that Woody is really gone. I’ll never hear his deep nicker again, or see his expressive glances. He really was my entire world, and it’s so difficult to accept that he’s gone 🥲

Even though I’m only a few miles from the beach, I’m currently laying flat out in our giant riding field soaking up the sun! This is more relaxing!

I live on the farm and somehow I didn’t wake up when the semi arrived at 3 am with the show horses coming from Woodside. I guess I’m very comfortable here!

Covid scare at the barn yesterday. One girl, who is vaccinated with J&J shot, got sick with the delta variant. We had someone come to the farm and test all of us yesterday, and thank goodness we were all negative

Equestrian problems: getting black boot polish on the toilet when going to the bathroom between rides. Does this happen to anyone else?

Tomorrow we are having a birthday party for the BO and the grooms are cooking lunch and they all chipped in and hired a mariachi band! It’s going to be so fun!💃🏻

I had a riding accident. My horse spooked, I came off but it was messy. I landed on my ribs but underneath my horse. He stepped on my hand twice. It’s broken in 3 places & I need surgery. 3 broken ribs & a punctured lung, that is now collapsed. It’s my 2nd night in hospital 😞

I’ve been in the hospital since Tuesday and it’s weighing on me. I’m crying over losing Woody who I lost in May. He would never do this to me! How will I ever find another horse like him ???

My ribs are broken, my lung is still healing, and there’s a cast on my arm... but Im horse shopping bc I’m crazy and need to find a steady eddy. I’m keeping Dyno, but I need something that does not have 1.50 scope!
