TracktownMN girls/boys both place 2nd in team scoring at the 6AAA meet this past week. Off to state in a bus🤗

Hopkins Landon Hering’s performance today on day 1 of the MN State Track meet demonstrates why the senior is in contention for the 2024 MN Mr. Track & Field award. Landon will also run the 1600 Saturday before he begins preparations for his Fall campaign running for D-3 power MIT

2 days til the Hopkins 2024 cross country team travels to the Big Horn Mountains for our annual running camp with @willmargirlsdistance WillmarT&F AndoverHS XC @bluejayxctf

We are on the bus traveling to Buffalo Wyoming for the 33 year of the Big Horn Mountain Running Camp. HopkinsCC is again proud to run and partner with Jamestown ND, Willmar, Andover and Buffalo Wyoming.

Day 2 took us to Billy Goat Road. Solid day from all the runners! Still very warm with temps in the mid-90’s

Day 2 run at circle park and make your own sandwich. High temps but great spirits. Hopkins retains the team balloon toss competition.

Day 3 is now in the book at the big horn running camp! Team Hopkins narrowly defeats teams Willmar, Jamestown, Andover for the balloon toss trophy. Tie Dye was the evening activity-outstanding job by our senior captains.

Day 4 highlights of the Big Horn Mountain running camp. Glow stick relay, movie theater, mountain vista, cool temps.

Still the flyest uniforms in the game 🔥 Joe Fahn OLY and his stylish Liberian kit courtesy of TELFAR look great in the first round of the 200m as the former NCAA champion storms down the straightaway to a spot in the semifinal with a 20.20 heat win.

Hopkins senior and MIT bound cross country & track athlete Landon Hering (center) received the boys AAA coaches association scholarship at the annual coaches clinic. Landon leaves Hopkins with PB’s of 9:14(3200), 4:17(1600), 1:58(800) and a 5K cc race of 15:19 ranking# 3 All time

2024 opening 5k race for Hopkins at the Perham Brave like Gabe cc invite. Girls V/JV win the Gold races. Sydney Drevlow ind champ. Hopkins places 7 in the top 16 in V race, Ruby Schweigert, Morgan Waechter, Chloe Voyen all place in the top 10.Boys V place 3rd, Carter Hering 5th!

Annual HopkinsCC athlete/parent pancakes & footsteps practice. Lunds & Byerlys supplied smiles and donuts after the practice.Thank you GM Andrew Holmberg😊Long run on the trail with our 6-12 boys & girls. Loved sharing time&pancakes with everyone after a great run on the trail.

Hopkins Harvest Hoe Down Friday Night, October 4th. This FREE event has a community mile at 7:50pm under the TrackTownMN Lights. In addition the event will include-DJ music, 50/50 raffle, pumpkin relays, and current 6-12 Hopkins cross country athletes running a 1600m or 3200m TT
