The future of mobile dev at Vercel just got way more interesting 👀 Fernando Rojo (creator of Solito) is now Head of Mobile at Vercel—what does that mean for cross-platform apps, Expo, and React Native? Jan Kaiser breaks it down. 🔽

you gotta watch LLMs really closely because if they don't understand a problem they just pile extra layers of abstraction, defensive programming, fallbacks, and slop up your codebase if a generation doesn't fix the problem, ROLL BACK before trying again

I used to work with Angular pretty much exclusively a few years ago, so I could have theoretically called myself a TS “expert” without knowing React… On the other hand, I still kept up to date with other frameworks out of interest, so I guess Theo has a point… 🤷

Most people treat debugging like trial and error. This post by Jan Kaiser makes the case for treating it like a scientific investigation, complete with hypotheses, controlled experiments, and reproducible results. Blog linked in the comments.

If you're using Roo Code in VS Code and not using custom modes, you're doing it wrong. In this post, Brandon ✌︎('ω')✌︎ shares how he created custom Roo modes for docs, pairing, project planning, and more. Link in the comments!

We ran into an interesting bug yesterday. Can anyone guess why this happened? 😃 Hint: the same bug wouldn't manifest today 🙂

We have a couch with a mechanism to extend foot rests and when our dog has had enough of us, she crawls under there and just chills there - sometimes for hours. Which made me paranoid about using the foot rest because I'm scared she's under there and will be crushed 😅
