We have managed to secure places for three of our students to participate in the free after-school French classes provided by Alliance Française East Anglia. The Alliance Française is an educational charity that promotes the learning of French & learning about the French culture

After winning both pools to meet against each other in the final decider, to get through to the counties. With a win of 5 games to 3 a massive well done to Seth, Freddie F, Freddie B & Jack. Also a well done to Callan, Oscar, Toby & Toby A on their excellent team efforts.

Year 8 Business Option have been busy pitching their packaging, slogan and logo ideas for a confectionary company's new product the 'Blazin' Raisin' chocolate bar. Congratulations to Jaida, Jasmine, Oscar and Leo who had the winning presentation. #secondaryready

From placing orders to drinking un chocolat chaud the French way (from a bowl!) our students and staff have had a great time at the French restaurant experience today. Looking oh lala in those red berets too.

This week Mrs McCann’s class looked a cubed numbers and proved why we multiply by itself and itself again, by using multi link cubes! Do you know what 5 cubed is? The class would tell you that “it means 5 x 5 x 5 which makes 125! 125 small cubes make the big 5 by 5 by 5 cube!”

Yr 8 have been studying The Firebird by Stravinsky.Their task is to compose a piece of music which is inspired by Stravinsky's ballet.Noah's composition shows tremendous levels of work & includes creative melodies, dynamic changes, bassline development and creative transitions .

What a fantastic achievement by the Yr 8 netball team. They won the league and won every match. Their teamwork & communication was excellent throughout. Well done girls 💪💪

What a way to finish the half term - the introduction of Holywell's Got Talent. Auditions are on the 5th and 6th of November. We are so excited to give the students the opportunity to show off their skills.
