I have reached the end of week 4 on my final placement as an OT student! And although these times are so uncertain and scary I can still say I love the career I have chosen and I am so thankful for the amazing NHS colleagues I have the pleasure of working alongside💚💙#NHSheroes

A massive congratulations to all of our new graduates who have coped SO well with all of the disruption brought upon us by Covid-19. You are all amazing and I look forward to watching your careers develop, and cheering you on University of Salford Occupational Therapy

COVID19 is HARD... But one of the HUGE positive has been having OTs as part of the team. I'm stunned by how much they add to to the team - how did I not know this? #loveOTs #everyoneneedsanOT

Almost 3 months working as a qualified OT! I think the main things I have learnt so far are to always keep that OT focus and consistantly refer back to my OT toolkit! Also focusing on a work/life balance and taking time to reflect💚

Some little reminders - As a newly qualified OT it is so important to step back and remember how far I have come! Focus on the little victories 💚

Survived the first week on my new medical/surgical rotation - Identified many things I need to look up and learn! But for now its time to relax over the weekend 🧖🏼‍♀️💅🏼

I have been quiet on here for a while mainly because the last couple of months have been so overwhelming and busy, I did not think this time last year as a final year student that in my first year as a qualified OT I would be doing this - so proud of myself and this profession💚
