In the foreground some stunning regular ages cheviots I sold today, they’ve lived on the surrounding hills for generations and supported generations of hill shepherds and rural economies. In the background is the future of their habitat. Quite sad really. ☹️

That’s simply not true. According to the experts who manage nature reserves sheep grazing is the backbone of chalk grassland management combined with pony or cattle grazing to create the ideal environment for rare species including the Grayling butterfly and Wart-Biter Cricket

Wrong!😠 Sheep aren’t intrinsically bad. Overgrazing is damaging regardless of the species that’s doing it. Likewise, single species grazing is limiting regardless of what species it is. There’s plenty of science to show low intensity mixed grazing is the correct answer 🐑🐂🐐🐴

Why do you have to promote your product by tarnishing other producers? Surely you can promote PFL lamb on its own merits? And I say that as someone who produces forage reared rams and boxed lamb sold direct to consumers (not PFL though).

So Thérèse Coffey if you agree with criminal sentences imposed for horrific pollution, why don’t you push for water companies to be punished the same for discharging into rivers? I’ll tell you why: because you were 1 of 265 MP’s who voted to allow sewage into rivers. Perfect

Last of my Friesland Milking ewes have been scanned in lamb and are ready to move on to pastures new. 30 available, mostly yearlings. Scanned 160% to texel and suffolk rams. Retweets appreciated.
