As part of celebrating our #HiddenHeroes at HMP Foston Hall, our staff took part in a wellbeing day. They continue to do a fantastic job and deserve great appreciation! Thank you!

At Foston Hall, we were recently inspired by author Patrick Gale, the child of a Prison Governor who found a love for writing. He presented prizes for the Derby Book Festival, an initiative to help prisoners write creatively to support their education and improve life skills.

It was a pleasure to welcome the Derbyshire High Sheriff to Foston Hall Prison to present long service awards to some staff members. We are delighted that the High Sheriff has chosen Foston Hall as one of her interests for her year in office and look forward to further visits!

Criminology at UoL and @leicsIAS has been honoured to host the Deputy Director of Guyana's Prison Service, Mr Kevin Pilgrim as a LIAS Fellow. A huge thank you to HMP Leicester, @HMPNottingham, HMPSudbury and HMPFostonHall for making it such a productive visit.
