Yesterday, our Marine Section responded to a distress call from a locally registered vessel experiencing engine trouble. The team promptly deployed to the scene, safely secured the vessel, and towed her back to port.

During a routine patrol today off Catalan Bay, our Marine Section spotted a common dolphin in the water. On closer approach, it was sadly confirmed that the dolphin was already deceased. The Dolphin was recovered, and the Department of the Environment has been notified.
