Today we say good bye to LCdr Brian Henwood, who was our Captain for the past year for Ops LIMPID and CARIBBE, and we welcome aboard LCdr Kristina Gray as our new Captain. It has been a very busy but great year, with much more to come for the rest of 2018.

We also say good bye to our Executive Officer, LCdr Lisa Zezza, who is off to Patrol Vessel Sea Training to mentor and train ships preparing for operations. We officially welcome Lt(N) Nick Culhane as our new XO, and look forward to many great adventures with him. BZ XOs

Never to late to do some joint Ops. HMCS Edmonton visits 1CMBG and the LdSH(RC) Regtl Society for a tour of the recce squadron and the tank farm. Great opportunity for sailors to learn about the army, and share sea stories with their brothers and sisters in arms in Edmonton.

DYK, the Griesbach Village neighbourhood is a military themed development, and the Bedford Basin lake has a life sized replica of HMCS Edmonton’s bow. The streets are named after famous ships, naval personnel etc. There are also army and air themed parts as well!
