Every year this activity is a firm favourite ...sparkly reindeer food to put out on the lawn on Christmas Eve.... making magical memories in nursery. Humberstone Infants Mrs Radwan


Festive activities in nursery .... lots of activities to keep our children engaged in this exciting last week... we have our party on Wednesday morning and our Christmas sing a long on Friday, we hope you can join us xx Humberstone Infants Mrs Radwan



Our children loved learning about the Chinese New Year, and being able to try on beautiful Chinese clothing, we even had noodles and chop sticks in our home corner, this week we added pancakes and practised tossing them in frying pans! Mrs Radwan


Busy busy busy ..... our children are always engaged in their learning, they show such fascination and curiosity with each activity, vegetable printing was very popular after talking about foods that grow on the farm. Mrs Radwan



Some wonderful observational art in nursery this morning, we spoke about the different parts of the daffodil, the petals, the stems and what colour they should be... Mrs Radwan Mrs Martin

We have caterpillars in our classroom, because we are reading the story called ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ , we are going to watch them grow, spin a cocoons and emerge as a butterflies, have also been talking about healthy and unhealthy foods. Mrs Martin Mrs Radwan


We are learning how to keep our teeth clean and healthy, we have been practising how to brush our teeth . At carpet time we have been talking in ‘talk partners’ about what food and drink are healthy and unhealthy…. Mrs Martin Mrs Radwan

Our butterflies have emerged from their cocoons, which caused much excitement in nursery this morning. Not long now until they can fly away …. 🐛🦋 Mrs Radwan


Today we set our six butterflies off onto their next adventure, fortunately for us one of them wanted to stay a little longer to eat the orange and so we got to see it’s long tongue and beautiful wing patterns up close. Mrs Radwan



Christmas has arrived in nursery, and it was so lovely to see the children arrive Monday morning with a look of excitement on their faces … the elf has once again delivered a pile of books and we will read one each day with Mrs Radwan … 🎄🎄🎄🎄📚
