I made a phone call today and let a stranger into my house to use the bathroom. I might even cook dinner if I start feeling better from my flare in time. A big win against my PTSD!

Wrote 1100 words in one sitting today. My stomach is behaving for now, so I plan to cook steaks for dinner.

The people redoing our deck accidentally blew a fuse. I fixed it! I have never done that before.

New deck in the making! Our old one was built by the previous owner with no permits, and it wasn't up to code. This one will be so much better!

Wrote 1,200 words today and did a whole lot of research. Hit 35,000 words on the project. It's coming along!

I've eaten nothing but bland safe foods today, and I'm still having stomach issues. Not cool

Some nights, I have to remind myself that my life got substantially better when most of my biological family stopped speaking to me. I have never been healthier mentally and emotionally, and I finally have a real support system.

We have an empty hot tub (that's at least 20 years old and came with the house) on our deck. The people redoing the deck are currently moving it. I'm concerned it will stop working, but tbh it probably should have died years ago.

Wrote 1,300+ words today. I also researched a lot, edited some of what I wrote yesterday, and generally had a lot of fun writing.

Had some broiled oysters at a local place. It was very close to the ones I had in New Orleans. Very tasty!
