After having tested thouroughly OpenAI Codex against GPT5-Medium Reasoning, the result is quite clear. Codex wasn't able to resolve a task even after 10 tries, while GPT5-Medium Reasoning solved it first shot.

I must admit it's absolute entertainement to use Claude Sonnet 4.5 the constant self-praise is super funny

The new OpenAi Codex 5.2 XHigh Fast is pure entertainment. It will reflect for such a long time that at the end it will have forgotten the task and ask what the task is. All this while having done absolutely nothing but thinking.
