We’re celebrating the repeal of #ProcurementOfAMiscarriage with Healthy and Free Tennessee! After 140 years on the books, the Governor of Tennessee signed a law repealing the crime of “procurement of a miscarriage,” meaning no longer will this law be used to criminalize Tennesseans.

Some good news for a change: Healthy and Free Tennessee had a massive win last week when the state repealed an 1883 law that criminalized "procurement of a miscarriage" and has been used as recently as 2015 to prosecute a woman who tried to end her pregnancy. reckon.news/honey/2023/05/…
