West Point PTS had an outstanding Cookies and Cocoa event for the school community. It was wonderful to help at the event!

Maxwell had a remarkable Barnes and Noble night. It was joyful to be a reader with several of my colleagues at the event, and it was great to see our community at the event.

Students participate in numerous independent and group extension activities during library classes while reading Katie the Catsitter, a nominee for the Pennsylvania Young Reader’s Choice Award. The students were very successful in the review Kahoot game!

Students conduct research at PebbleGo Next during library class to learn more about the weather, which also supports classroom projects.

Maxwell Library classes for grades K, 1, and 2 on January 21 and 22 during Flexible Instructional Day had an author visit from Russell Rogers. He traveled from California and planned to be at our library in person, but we successfully gathered with Google Meet. Thank you!

Students excelled at Read Across America activities in Library classes! Our 4th graders launched a hands-on design adventure inspired by Cat Ninja, a Pennsylvania Young Reader’s Choice Award–winning book, in Library class. Students designed a lair as part of an engineering challenge, working together and demonstrating teamwork.

Ready to meet some unique creatures? In their Library class, 5th graders at West Point and Maxwell created Scranimals. Inspired by Jack Prelutsky’s PA Young Reader’s Choice winner, each sketch had wild features, hilarious names, and a story to match. Seesaw
