For International Women’s Day , the WI conducted a short survey among members to understand how gender equality and its progress is perceived. Our survey show that WI members overwhelmingly believe that caring responsibilities continue to hamper women’s careers.

Come join us for WI Christmas Fair on Sunday 5th Nov 2023 from 11am - 3:30pm at Harmston Memorial Hall, Harmston Village, Lincolnshire. Great local stalls & WI refreshments, raffle & wonderful bakes! Our charity this year is @edanlincs and will receive 2/3 of WI stalls proceeds.

1/3 #StormHenk aftermath update: Trent Bridge at Gainsborough – also known as the A631 Flood Road – has been closed at the turning on to the bridge from the Lincolnshire side, and from the Beckingham roundabout just over the boarder due to flooding on the road.

2/3 This closure is likely to remain in place at least until overnight, please avoid the area. Dunham Bridge is also closed which means you will need to cross at M180 or Keadby, or on the A1 or Newark.

This Morning programme on ITV discussed the benefits of the WI. Alison Hammond said her sister was a member and that she's thinking of joining. 30,000 new members this year can't be wrong.
