.The Athletic's coverage of our program to distribute life saving naloxone on the Ole Miss campus has opened up a flood of personal stories. So many Americans have been impacted by the opioid epidemic.

We could not agree more with this comment from Doug A. in response to The Athletic's story about the collaboration between HarborPath and Ole Miss. Every person impacted by the opioid epidemic has a story.

In response to The Athletic's story on our partnership with Ole Miss and @jordantwatkins to raise awareness about life saving naloxone, we are seeing so many people who can identify with how deeply personal the opioid epidemic really is. nytimes.com/athletic/59059…

Let's commit to saving more lives through the wide availability of opioid reversal agents like naloxone. This comment was made in response to The Athletic's piece about HarborPath and @jordantwatkins. nytimes.com/athletic/59059…

Former NH Governor Chris Sununu has a compelling piece over at Fox News in which he encourages states to begin spending their opioid abatement dollars with greater urgency. He describes how his state managed to drastically reduce opioid deaths. foxnews.com/opinion/my-sta…

From Governor Chris Sununu's Op-Ed on Fox News. Many thanks. And kudos to the Governor for the progress his state has made in saving lives through innovative treatment programs and life-saving opioid reversal drugs like naloxone. foxnews.com/opinion/my-sta…

👀 .Chris Sununu tells state leaders throughout the country to start putting money from opioid settlements to work!

Opioid deaths among Blacks and Hispanics have surged 200% since 2019 in Mecklenburg County North Carolina. These data published in Axios Charlotte reflect a clear trend being seen all over. The opioid epidemic remains prevalent among communities of color.

.Brian Mann reports for NPR that all states have seen a reduction in fentanyl deaths. Experts credit the wide availability of naloxone, in part, for the reduction. The fight is not over! State abatement commissions need to continue to make naloxone widely available.

🧵The fentanyl crisis is claiming far too many lives, and spreading awareness is our first line of defense. This powerful animation article from Steve Breen illustrates the devastating impact of illicit fentanyl, especially on young people. inewsource.org/2024/12/19/fen…

1 in 10? Way too low. HarborPath works with state governments and other nonprofits to help make naloxone widely available among vulnerable populations.
